C-Grade Axis Antlers are perfect for customers looking for good quality Axis antlers at a cheaper price! These are sold in 5- and 10-pound groups, which allows us to price these antlers lower than our single-antler listings. Axis antlers are one of the hardest and most dense antlers on the market, which makes them great for use in various craft projects, and for long-lasting decor! Axis antlers have a solid inner core that resembles ivory or marble when sanded or carved. They are highly desirable to knife makers and carvers.

What to expect from these antlers: These antlers are C-Grade quality, which means that in addition to sun fading, they are now starting to develop very light surface cracks in a few places. C-Grade antlers will still be mostly slick-to-the-touch with some subtle roughness beginning to develop.  These antlers are still fully solid on the inside. All points will be mostly intact, but there may be natural chips or slight broken tips in some antlers. All antlers are 100% natural and free of any added chemicals or stains, naturally shed from the animal, and have a nice natural burr. How many antlers are in 5 pounds? It depends on the size of antler. Generally, you will get 3 to 4 antlers in five pounds. We use a mix of Large and Extra-Large antlers and add in smaller antlers to fill out the poundage. Typical combinations are as follows: 4 Large Antlers, 3 Extra-Large Antlers, 2 Extra Large and 1-2 Smaller Antlers *** Unless otherwise requested, you will receive a mix of sizes.

Antler Sizing: Main beam length is measured along the curve of the antler from the burr to the tip.

Medium – Main Beam Length 18 to 22 inches
Large – Main Beam Length 22 to 26 inches
Extra Large – Main Beam Length 26 to 30 inches
**For beams 1" in diameter or thicker, we recommend large and XL sizes.
