All other sizes are a darker brown color. All antlers are naturally shed with a nice natural burr. They do not have any missing tines (though natural chips may be present), or rodent chew marks and are 100% free of added chemicals or stains.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAxis Deer Antler Sizing:\u003c\/strong\u003e Axis Deer antlers are amazingly uniform in their structure.  A typical Axis antler consists of three points; the main beam, a brow tine, and one secondary point halfway up the beam.  In addition, their mass (the thickness of the main bean) is generally proportional to the length; the larger the antler the thicker the main beam. For this reason, Axis size categories are much more straightforward than all other species we sell. This size has the shortest points of all sizes from small to XXL. Antlers with main beams less than 20\" are noticeably smaller than the three larger sizes. Medium antlers are most similar in size to Small antlers; the only difference is that Medium antlers have a slightly taller profile.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLarge \u003c\/strong\u003e- Main beam length longer than 20\", total mass 12-16\", and the total combined mass + main beam length is less than 37\". Large sizes through XXL sizes all have longer main beams than the three smaller sizes, which give these sizes a bigger overall profile. Large antlers, however, do not quite have the heaviness\/mass that the XL and XXL sizes have.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eExtra Large (XL) \u003c\/strong\u003e– These antlers are big and heavy with fairly long main beams and typically taller tines\/points. Main beam length is greater than 20\", total mass is greater than 15\", and the total combined mass + main beam length is greater than 37”. These antlers score roughly between 60 and 70”.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eExtra Extra Large (XXL)\u003c\/strong\u003e – All antlers in this category score between 70 and 80”.
